charlo has passed away on the 17th. he wasn't feeling well and wasn't eating, his gums were white/very pale and he was very lethargic. we took him to a 3 hour away vet after finding out he had IMHA (basically his red blood cells and platelets were destroying themselves) and it was either because of his genes of being a cocker or because of a tumor

sadly, we learned from the ultrasound that he didn't have one, but two tumours - one on his spleen and one on his liver. removing them would most likely would've killed him, so we decided to give him the most humane death by euthanasia.

i can't describe to you guys how heartbroken i am - if surgery would've been risk-free, you bet your ass i would've saved him, but the tumors were too deep anyway

i might be very sporadic, but it's because i really need time to heal

him not feeling well happened suddenly and we did not know it was coming
